All US media will describe Israel's declaration of war as "preemptive" and Iran's response as "unprovoked."

Opposing The Gaza Holocaust Is Just The Basic, Bare Minimum Requirement To Not Suck As A Person Listen to a reading of this article (reading by Tim Foley):

Opposing the Gaza holocaust doesn’t make you a good person. Failing to oppose the Gaza holocaust makes you a bad person. It’s not something you do so you can feel good about yourself, it’s something you do so you can live with yourself.

Israel has obliterated the mausoleum of Simon Peter, the Apostle of Christ, in Shama, southern Lebanon.

A sacred site that has stood for over 2,000 years, now lies in ruins.

This is not “self-defense”.

This is a war crime and a crime against history.

Imagine nearly three months without meat, chicken, tomatoes, potatoes, or nutritional supplements. And now, for more than two weeks, there has been no flour. All we eat is some rice and a few canned foods. How long can this situation last?😥

Imagine going back in time to 2002 and trying to explain to Americans that in a few years the US government is going to start giving weapons to Al-Qaeda in Syria, and then the world will find out about this and just kind of shrug and then completely forget that it happened.

Israel’s goal is to kill as many Palestinians as possible — directly with weapons or indirectly via a manufactured humanitarian crisis — while pretending they are ‘fighting Hamas.’

This grants their Western backers plausible deniability over the ongoing genocide.

I'm reading a diplomatic history of the 1956 Suez Crisis (i.e., the British/French/Israeli invasion of Egypt) and what jumps out at me is that Eisenhower--a military lifer and staunch conservative--was well to the left of today's Democrats on foreign policy.

The Inaugural Address
January 20, 2021

I shared this comic less than an hour before President Biden began his speech, in the afterglow of a presidential campaign centered around the go-to line, “These are the United States of America!” After his election victory, Biden had spoken at length about healing our national wounds by working with a party that had made exterminationist ethnic hatred its defining characteristic, and he showed reluctance to pursue accountability and justice for the previous administration’s crimes (see also page 181). Two days after the leader of the Republican Party incited his base to ransack Congress, smear feces on its floors, and hunt for Democrats to murder, Biden declared, “We need a Republican party.” Really?

The man standing next to Biden is the January 6 Capitol rioter seen in viral photos wearing a “Camp Auschwitz” sweatshirt. In a ritual that had become ghastly slapstick comedy, after the usual propagandists swept in to insist “Camp Auschwitz” didn’t mean what it said, it was revealed that the insurrectionist was wearing a Nazi SS t-shirt underneath it. Adding further bathos, his attorney remarked, in a sentiment shared by much of the right, “He’s very mad that people are calling him a white supremacist, because he doesn’t see himself that way at all.”

In the Inaugural Address itself, although Biden denounced white supremacists, he favored a gener- alized “love and healing,” urging Americans to “open our souls” and to “stand in the other person’s shoes,” and declared, “We can join forces, stop the shouting, and lower the temperature. For without unity, there is no peace, only bitterness and fury.” The theme of “Unity” suffused the infomercial-style celebrations, with Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard performing their newly released “Undivided” (“I think it’s time to come together, you and I can make a change ... Look around and love somebody, we’ve been hateful long enough”).

Zionist propaganda distributed in DP camps in Germany in 1947 to dissuade Holocaust survivors from emigrating to the U.S.

Left: Foreboding NYC with exhortation "Jew, remember! Every exile leads to destruction."

Right: River-to-the-sea Palestine with "Enough! I want to go home!"
