Only good thing about it really is the fact that you get the option to “share” a digital game with friends or sell it online. Even then, it kills game preservation and is just a turn off for collectors and fans alike. It’s stopped me from buying games day one tbh.

Basically you’re getting a mix of physical and digital games. You don’t get the convenience of being able to have the game just downloaded because you HAVE to have the physical card in, and you don’t get the convenience of using the cartridge to save system space.

See the little white banner at the bottom of the box art? Not only is it a graphic design sin, but it also means that the game is a Game Key-Card (GKC). A GKC is where you pop the cartridge into your system, and you download the full game instead of it being on the cartridge itself.

Holy airball dude. Listen I can understand the existence GKCs, look at the upcoming Final Fantasy game for Switch 2. This though? These companies are seriously dropping the ball dude, and I hate to see it.
