I understand FPTP.

It does take a lot of votes to win.

However enabling extreme parties to gain power is not a win.

Coalitions ca happen in FPTP too and have more stability.

As I said, worthwhile candidates and policies are the issue, not the system. Be votable by the majority.

These are the pleasures in life that not everyone stops to appreciate. I think when we are in tune with our senses for whatever reason, and then we get comfort just right, it is heavenly

The use of “sectarian” was also unwise. It has the opposite effect to what he intended.

I like that it takes an outstanding candidate and a good manifesto to win.

It’s not the measure that is at fault, it is the worth of the content

It wasn’t personal. I mean generally. In relation to PR about other policies - they don’t really matter

You can’t fob off disabled people with better press on railways. We feel every pinch, every squeeze of every policy. Fifteen percent of the population. We knew not to trust tories. The betrayal by Labour cannot be undone. The hope lost has cut deep. To us, our families, our friends, our carers.

In addition the emphasis on workers and getting disabled people back to work WITHOUT any improvement to infrastrure accessibility, enforcing the Equality Act, and diminishing SEND provision, is a direct attack on the very people who were demonised under the conservatives. People who voted Labour

It’s much more than bad pr.

The party has betrayed core values. I wrote to m Labour MP about the UC bill and he wrote back on commons paper saying “you’ll be alright, it’ll only impact new claims”. So new disabled people don’t count? He thinks I only care about myself? How very Tory

It’s so odd also that he could choose to embrace the Greens, recognise the social policies that focus on people, and appreciate the message the voters are singing .

The conservatives embraced UKIP and Reform.

Is he worried that the Greens will swallow up Labour and replace them?

So he’s saying it’s not his fault, it’s George Galloway’s?

How… arrogant?

It’s silly people being impatient?

As a disabled voter who is disappointed in his policies to the extent I won’t vote Labour again and will be voting Green next time, I find his response lacking reality.
