9 people killed, others injured after vehicle drives into Vancouver street festival crowd | CBC News Vancouver police say nine people were killed and multiple others injured after the driver of a black SUV drove into a crowd at a street festival in Vancouver on Saturday evening.

I’m shocked and saddened by this horrific incident, the senseless deaths and injuries at the Lapu Lapu Day festival in Vancouver. My heart goes out to the victims, their families and friends and to the Filipino community.

I started my birthday today picking up garbage along the E&N rail trail with the five local Rotary Clubs.

I’m a member of Nanaimo Rotary. The Rotary motto is “Service Above Self”. Those are words I live by and the reason why I’m running to be your member of Parliament again.
