It's a beautiful place. I can't imagine building that just so some politician has a nice place to live.

They designed it to emulate an English pub. It was our favorite spot before it closed down shortly before the pandemic. Now our favorite UK-like spot is an Indian restaurant. Heh.

Hopefully, we've seen our last snow for the year.

For clarity, I take photos of melting snow because in my mind it's dying, and I want to remember its suffering last breaths.

But I'm not petty.

You've done a great job with her, Jen. I'm happy you're both so happy.

Well, we had about a foot and a half of it. It won't be consistently warm for another few days yet.

I'm glad you're happy in your new place. Enjoy your time with Abby and your parents. We'll be here when you need us.

This is why I'm apathetic as they go bankrupt one after another.

Five days after the blizzard, melting and clean-up continues. Trees are bowed, but not broken, for the most part, and life has begun to thaw once more.
