I'm attending again this year just by virtue of living here but I miss all y'all 🥺

I am also a weeb so the majority of my con experience is actually from anime cons, and a significant percentage of those are fan run. The huge ones are more corporate (Anime Expo, etc) but I usually go to medium size ones. It's a night and day difference and I like the vibes much better

Tbh I vastly prefer fan cons to these big corporate productions (I usually only go to one if there's a guest I REALLY want to meet, and I literally live across town in this case lmao) but I enjoy our gatherings a lot just vibing with crew

I will say this, one of the bad parts about the insular nature of fandom/con culture is seeing someone who ghosted you out on the con floor and having to pretend you didn't see them despite having to walk within feet of them to get into a line lmao

Which ones have you tried? I drink them almost daily (unloading trucks in summer sucks ass, it's basically a sauna) and I have definitely had some I don't like, but I'm obsessed with the bomb pop flavor. It's spot on to me. I do hate that they cost $10 a box here tho 🥲
