But Mamdani is just a middle of the road, European social democrat

And "centrists" - ie centre-right and right - are simply pro-fascism.

The full weight of western capitalism is about to laser focus on NYC. The robber barons failed to win and will panic. They will sabotage NYC because the system cannot allow Mamdani's term to be successful. They cannot allow people to believe things can be better. Your job now is to hold the line.

This is how I felt watching All the President’s Men this past weekend.

In the final scene, I realized the reporters are now gone, the newspaper has been hollowed out and sold to a billionaire for parts, and the same is true for the television broadcast.

- On Indigenous Peoples Day, my mutual aid reached 500+ reposts and was funded quickly.

- I do not have extended family I can reach out to for help; I’m a survivor of an abusive household that escaped.

If you see a lot of political memes that have an out-of-place sepia filter, it's because the Studio Ghibli filter OpenAI added to ChatGPT was too popular and polluted their database, and will force a "nostalgic Ghibli sepia filter" onto images without asking. The recent White House Halo pic is one.

RIP Adam Greenberg
He was the superb cinematographer who shot Near Dark (watch it!), Terminator 2: Judgment Day and, of course, The Terminator, which means he’s responsible for one of my favourite shots in cinema that also coined a new genre for its film:
