Can you think of any other time in British history when a political party with as massive an advantage in the HoC as Labour currently boast has squandered so much opportunity?

Try as I might, I genuinely can't.

They don't like the facts about climate change so they are systematically trying to destroy the evidence. The floods, fires and storms will carry on getting worse regardless.

A fair price to the public for water nationalisation | Letter Letter: The government is wrong on the cost of bringing water back into public ownership, write Prof Becky Malby, Dr Kate Bayliss, Prof Frances Cleaver and Prof Ewan McGaughey

UK govt is wrong on the cost of bringing England's water back into public ownership.

Its ยฃ100bn number has no economic/legal basis.

The cost of public ownership is "closer to zero".

Companies are bankrupt, their shareholders and lenders have already extracted billions.

Guess who the tax system is really supporting In this second article on wealth accumulation, we explain who our tax system really supports

"As the table shows, the answer is, mostly to the richest.

The people in the top decile receive 40% of all the pension relief, a third of the relief on the sale of domestic properties, and half of the ISA relief."

World in $1.5tn โ€˜plastics crisisโ€™ hitting health from infancy to old age, report warns Plastic production has increased more than 200 times since 1950 and hits health at every stage from extraction to disposal, says review in the Lancet

Despite all efforts on recycling plastic production continues to increase as microplastics cover the entire earth in a thin layer that will last for thousands of years. The focus must be on controlling production & distribution not just consumption and recyling.

Sizewell C is a worse scandal than HS2. Over priced vanity project. You could put a battery into 50 million building for this money and cut the need for peak power generation by a third whilst cutting bills and saving CO2. This puts up bills and leaves a huge pollution legacy.
