Farmers struggling because of erratic climate changes. Food prices will rise. Expect much worse as the climate continues to deteriorate for another 30 years IF world leaders stick to their plans. Longer & harder problems if they don't.

Why would anyone let an Asian government led by a war criminal participate in a giant whitewashing operation by joining the EUROvision song contest?

It Looks Like Trump Will Sell Ukraine Out

I just find it hilarious that his whole cabinet is sloberring praise all over him with ridiculous hyperbole and he is falling asleep while they're doing it.
You couldn't write comedy better than this. It's better than VEEP.
Trump says we need to go after drug cartels.
Meanwhile, he disbanded a DOJ task force that took them on.
And he pardoned a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking.
Trump doesn't care about drugs โ he wants to be able to declare war on anyone he labels an enemy.
It's a power grab.
Blue Labour fills me with more disgust every single day. What is the point of elections in this country if we change government, but just get more of the same?! We need radical change to our electoral system, and our politics.
02.12.2025 12:20 โ ๐ 23 ๐ 8 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Loose financial regulations gave us the 2008 financial crash in which extreme free markets collapsed and had to be bailed out by governments acquiring more debt than they did under Covid. So what idiot would loosen regulations and risk a repeat?

The floods in South East Asia are coving a mind bogglingly large territory. As if there was flooding from Scotland to Southern Spain. This is not normal.

How does ruling out re-joining the EU confront the reality that Brexit has significantly hurt our economy and our influence? It is going to carry on causing harm until we have a vote on the actual deal instead of the one we had on whether we liked nice promises.

Liars tend to be very good at accusing others of lying. Cheats think everyone else is a cheat. The British Broadcasting Company must not pay Trump money for accusing him of inciting a riot and trying to overturn an election. He's guilty.
