I had a sandwich today from a place that rhymes with "DubWay" for the first time in years.

Upon my first bite I remembered why it had been years. It was as cold as ice and I swear it hissed at me.

I think I should've just went the local and got a pastie instead. 🙄

It just hit me that it's coming up to around a year ago where a friend of mine passed away.

It's terrifying how fast time flies. Everything, including the day they passed and the funeral is seared into my memory.

I'll have more than a few drinks when the days come around.

I get an immense amount of enjoyment from listening to random lore, iceberg or history videos / podcasts.

I just go all "brain empty" mode and completely tune out.

I think it'll be good to do that, and probably listen to some music, when I start painting my miniatures~
