Astra Stargazer she/ her - inkling - 22 - Birthday: August 25 Heavy Splatling Main - S+ / X Rank - Eggsectutive VP - Energetic, chaotic, highly competitive - lives for the thrill of battles - Competes with a team in Anarchy battles for a living, takes up Grizzco shifts on the side for extra cash - Loves to strategize for battles and is the leader of her team during matches - Outside of battles and current trends, she's kinda stupid - A huge foodie, but is banned from cooking (for everyone's safety) - Grew up in Inkopolis, but has familiy from the Splatlands. Moved to Splatsville with Saph and Cerise after they graduated from high school and particpated in Chaos vs. Order - Met her smallfry companion, named Squill, after moving to Splatsville. They have impeccable synergy, and a similar appetite - Randomly went missing for a few weeks after turning 21 (became Neo Agent 3 of the Squidbeak Splatoon) - Favorite bands: C-Side, Front Roe, Sashimori, all idol groups
Sapphire Gourami she/ her - octoling - 22 - Birthday: September 26 Octobrush Main - B Rank - Optimistic, bubbly, friendly- also deals with a bit of anxiety - Former Octarian army soldier. Never saw combat, but acted as a sentry for the warehouse that held the Great Octoweapons. Left Octo Valley after witnessing the first Calamari Inkantation performance - Got stuck in the Deep Sea Metro after getting lost, met Cerise when he barely saved her from getting fully sanitized, and they escaped together after completing all the metro's tests for their mem cakes - Reached the surface at 16 with Cerise where they met and lived with Astra. They all moved to Splatsville together after the Chaos vs. Order fest - Does model work for a variety of gear brands for a living- Toni Kensa is her favorite brand to work with - A small blogger / influencer (she likes to take pictures and document her experiences with the surface culture in Inkopolis and now Splatsville.
Cerise Haddock he/him - octoling - 22 - Birthday: October 4 Aerospray RC Main (?) - No Rank - Tableturf Lv 600 - Laidback, logical, realist- can get worked up over topics he's passionate about. Not a cold person, just usually has a neutral/ tired expression - Former Octarian scientist/ engineer that worked on the Great Octoweapons, was seen as a prodigy. Left Octo Valley after witnessing the first Calamari Inkantation performance - Got stuck in the Deep Sea Metro after getting lost, met Sapphire down there, and briefly got partially sanitized during their escape - Reached the surface at 16. Saph and him started their lives over in Inkopolis, there they met Astra and moved in with her family till they all graduated high school. Moved to Splatsville at 18 with Saph and Astra - Usually works remote tech jobs for a living- sometimes struggles to find work - Still likes to read science journals, occasionally tinkers with mechanics, an avid gamer (especially likes Tableturf)

A comic in the Zelda AU, where Sapphire is a Zora and Cerise is a Sheikah. They are both sitting on the edge of a river with their legs in the water. Saph is kicking her feet in the water, while Cerise is making research notes on Fleet-Lotus plants growing out of the water. A small bug is flying around the plants. Panel 1: Saph- “So how did you get that scar on your face, anyways?” Panel 2: Cerise’s eyes shrink and he’s starting to sweat. He looks nervous. Saph- “Was is from getting caught up with a monster, or something?”
Panel 3: A flashback to a year ago, that shows Cerise in the middle of tripping on a loose floorboard while carrying a bowl of Fire Fruit. Most of the fruit has fallen out of the bowl and is heading towards the ground. Cerise has a blank expression on his face as he realizes the mistake he’s made. He has a thought bubble that reads, “shit.” The second half of the panel shows a tiny doodle of Cerise face planted on the ground. The bowl is off to the side and most of the fruit has ignited into small fires. Cerise’s face landed on one of these fires. Panel 4: Back to the present. Cerise looks even more sweaty than before, but is trying to play it off. Cerise- “Yeah, it was from something totally cool like that.”
