Hey, Tommy Robinson followers, here's where your donations to his cause are going. Not bad for a criminal. Even UK pensioners don't get this many holidays.

ICE stripped a German green card holder naked, drove him from Boston to Vermont to Rhode Island, put him in a cold shower, deprived him of medication, sleep and food until he collapsed.
No one knows why he was detained.
I decided to start a #thread 𧡠of stories about legal residents and tourists being (illegally) arrested, detained and/or deported by the Trump regime. I'll only post stories from serious sources, as rumors and conspiracies are really not needed in this authoritarian moment.
15.03.2025 21:04 β π 3761 π 2066 π¬ 1 π 327This is the blatant "we-don't-care-we're-Tories" thing. That they can get away with anything (and until last July they did), yet their supporters still drool with anticipation when they come up with some mad idea or other. Had he been shagging a single Council mum, it'd have been her blamed for it.

Absolutely spot on from Simon Tisdall π

Thank god they've taken the stuff down. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to put it there in the first place? π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ

Just been over to the dark side, aka X, and it seems tweets 'cannot be refreshed at this time' or some such.
Wonder if it's just taking a rest or the hacking is causing more problems than X is letting on.
She should remain as Tory leader so the Tories have a good chance of remaining in power.

It's not just the nurses and other medical staff, although they're front line. All those in back offices with toxic managers or colleagues are working hard, looking forward to that retirement date just around the corner.
I shan't miss the toxicity of some but I will miss the goodness of the rest.
Me, too. I have no idea why she's still wanging on about stuff.

16.01.2025 20:14 β π 657 π 209 π¬ 49 π 16Am about to retire from one of the most toxic places I've worked. One staff member is playing the system. Machiavellian. Hates on folks for no reason. Got someone forced out of her usual desk because she doesn't like her. Is now applying for management jobs; no experience so she'll defo get one. Mad

She's attention-seeking. Misses being PM so this is all she has left.
Interestingly, her tweet even sounded like the kind of thing Trump et al would say. She's up to something there, a job in his administration perhaps? No-one else will have her.
I wonder if she's thinking of moving out there? She's up to something, grovelling as she is. Eeuuww.
17.01.2025 17:03 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have little sympathy for them. They supported a leadership that didn't approve of the jobless, called them and low-wage workers scroungers and worse, and whinged every time a poorer person complained about low wages/being out of work, telling them to get a job. Bet they're even claiming benefits.
16.01.2025 17:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Very true. I try to live as simple a life as I can and so I probably don't have as much hassle as you but I completely agree with you. It's tiresome, particularly remembering the excessive number of passwords.

President Biden farewell address:
βAmericans are being buried under an avalanche of misinformation enabling the abuse of power. The free press is crumbling. Editors are disappearing. Social media is giving up on fact-checking. The truth is smothered by lies told for power and for profit.β

15.01.2025 14:14 β π 28 π 7 π¬ 2 π 1Same. Fed up with wanting to read a simple news story and being told to register/log in. It's pathetic. If they're expecting me to be so desperate to register to read their lousy story, they'll be disappointed as I decide not to read it and move swiftly on.
16.01.2025 09:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This reminds me of renting a certain flat in the southwest some years ago. I gave 3 months rent to the landlord and 3 months later he asked me why I hadn't paid rent for 2 months when I already had. Turned out he had so much money in so many accounts that he'd forgotten I'd paid. Nice to be so rich.
15.01.2025 19:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Odd how this only comes from very wealthy people who employ others, usually on low wages, whilst they enjoy reaping the benefits that often means. Certain MPs can also be fond of trotting this phrase out.
15.01.2025 19:51 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I suspect Musk et al are going to try to bypass this somehow. Perhaps by putting the cash into various accounts in order to hand it to Reform, or something similar. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

These reps are really stupid, aren't they? They know perfectly well that Joe Biden is still US President who brought about this ceasefire, yet @RepBoebert is claiming it's Trump's victory.
Deluded and machiavellian.
His feed is now virtually empty and only registering one post so he's deleted his comment about Trump, the coward.
