It seems the recent assasination, is another example of rampant white on white crime. Way too much of the tragic violence our nation is subjected to, especially incidents in public settings, comes from this category. We need to do better

Issues with demographics in the USA gradually having increasingly more retirees relative to workers, could be fixed instantly simply by going back to the pre-1924 immigration policies (ala Ellis Island) that enabled huge economic growth and innovation. But these folks don't want to hear that.

There is NO "fertility crisis", rather it turns out humans are not like bacteria in a culture that will mindlessly exponentially reproduce beyond any natural resource base, but instead respond to economic & sociopolitical conditions.

Trump gets more control over their companies, such as the ability to dictate things like hiring policies ("anti-DEI"), and can get millions funneled to his family's enterprises (not so hidden bribes, such as purchases of his crypto meme-coin). Plus he gains satisfaction from getting his ass kissed.

The tariffs have ZERO to do with gathering revenues or increasing US manufacturing, and EVERYTHING to do with Trump wanting business owners to have to come to him on bended knee, to beg for relief for their particular industry.
