Exactly. I remember him trying to keep the relief smaller because otherwise the economy might get “overheated”. The stimulus was bigger than he wanted but still about 1/2 what it should have been. One man wrecking crew.

If you listen to his whole statement, it sounds like 1) he doesn’t give his children pain meds, and 2) he thinks ibuprofen causes obesity.

Why not? If people need food, why not get them what they need? It’s a tiny portion of the federal budget. There are plenty of other places to cut — like our bloated “defense” budget. Also the ICE empire.
