This is really is a great piece, and Kevin makes an important point in it: “the data was made vulnerable because our scientific institutions assume good faith in people. There needs to be an acknowledgment that there are bad-faith researchers. The rules and regulations need to catch up with that”

Thank you for this excellent article. If you decide to write a follow-up to this story, I suggest looking into the "high IQ heritability" pseudoscience that race scientists cite in support of their claims, which mainly consists of twin studies.

The Pioneer Fund was also the main funder of the Minn. Study of Twins Reared Apart. The researchers suppressed their control group results not only to match their IQ-hereditarian confirmation biases, but also to please their funders.
