Thank you! I used to have my mom sew for me, I knew how but didn’t know how to fit myself. I’m on a long journey of trial and error. It requires patience but I find it so rewarding

With many Joann stores closing it’s a good idea to invest in one of these Gutermann color charts to color match your thread if you have to purchase online.

-Size 10
-3/8” added at front side seam at waist, tapered to nothing at hip
-1/2” added to front rise, tapered to nothing at side seams
-1/2” removed from rise across front and back just above crotch point
-kept original length, and thinking about leaving them unhemmed.

Did some cyanotype experiments with my mom over the weekend. Sadly the Crystals did not print. Not sure if the sun was too low in the sky or if they just don’t provide enough of a block. The shadows looked promising

I used the feta to make a whipped feta dip. This recipe is a keeper

I dye fabric first because I don’t always love the outcome and don’t want to ruin a garment. That said, I have over dyed garments to get a new look, it just feels a little more risky for me. polyester thread won’t pick up the dye that I use, so dyeing the garment won’t dye the thread that I’ve used
