A griffon vulture from Israel was found in Chad 🇹🇩
Thanks to local communities, Sahara Conservation &Israel Nature and Parks Authority, it made a full recovery & flew back into the wild!

Il y a 10 ans, une telle scène était inimaginable. Aujourd’hui, addax, oryx algazelle et gazelles dama évoluent en liberté dans la Réserve de Faune de Ouadi Rimé-Ouadi Achim, au Tchad.
Un succès pour la conservation, mais le combat continue pour protéger ces espèces !
The return of the scimitar-horned oryx after its extinction in the wild is a remarkable achievement and testament to shared vision, collaboration, long term commitment and how global interests aligned with local desire to see these animals back to where they belong.
