Thank you, honestly all this means a lot.

Kinda crazy how many of us nowadays are actually getting our lives destroyed by accusers and abusers and it's just sort of let it keep happening unpunished, uncontested.

I think there should be heavy legal consequences for people actively trying to get people to take their own lives. I think we're sort of beyond arguing on the internet with these people.

I hope that when my physical environment is safe for it that I can fully take to being me again, stronger, in spite of everything that's happened and in spite of these people.

Mine has legitimately left me in a tough place mentally, and with it just sort of ongoing within our space it's difficult.
I know I should sort of shut it out but that feels wrong too, like ignoring a house fire, or a group of people that are actively out to see you dead.

I say massive on twitter but it's more like entirely uncontested.

Issue is, we can be as loud as we want on bsky but they have massive followings on twitter and tiktok and ironically it makes us OGs look like a minority to be stomped out.
No one is saying this stuff to their face while they're making videos literally dictating what furry is.

Please don't take it seriously, I've only just gotten out of legal trouble due to these kinds of people, I don't want to go back into it.

The furry fandom is just a great sort of enormous family in which to share and explore ideas and really where my ideas felt most at home.
Therianthropy to me is less so the idea that I really believe I'm an animal but more so that I have something there I identify with and demands exploring.

I sort of adopted the therian thing before the furry thing. For me I'd always grown up having dreams of being animals and it came with a weird feeling or emotion that I still can't explain with words so I ended up just doing it with art.

Kinda makes you uninvested in the world when you have to pay an amount in rent a month that could get used on a down payment on mortgage in your parents generation. And to instead effectively be paying the mortgage of a second or third house of someone from said generation instead of your own.

I just wonder with tiktok furs and the like, and how performative everything feels. How many people come into the fandom in similar ways to how I did and a lot of us older lot did anymore.

There was always a massive thing around community and becoming a great artist to be able to draw for yourself and for others. Later I came across FA and well, much of all the same. I relished in the acceptance, expression and exploration that everything had.

When I came across the fandom in 2007ish I came at it from a way of searching for wolf art and the like. Like I wanted to BE a wolf and that's what lead me to cool as art of people getting to do just that and I was hooked, becoming one of that era's "sparkledogs" on DA

Honestly true. There is a lot of interactions bugs have that are seriously slept on and make me feel funny.

What I find crazy sad is the fact that someone like this has access to the means to produce diapers that so many of us creatives would dream of, and they're doing this shite.
Like even the AI aside, this stuff is just an eyesore.
