3) Started God of War: Ragnarök finally... I remember why I enjoyed GOW 2018 so much. Can't wait to play more!

4) Been streaming GTA IV: The Lost and Damned. Rockstar really cooked with GTA IV and it's DLCs. Amazing stuff.

5) Trophy/achievement hunting again. It is satisfying! [2/2]

Haven't posted on here for a while again... whoops. Here's what's been going on recently in the world of Eternal:

1) Hades Main Quest completed 😍 - I adore this game. Going for 100% now.

2) Played a lot of SSX 3...ITS SO GOOD. Go try it out if you haven't yet. [1/2]

It pains me to say it but technically, yes. It's over 20 years old now, and 7th gen consoles are 2 generations ago which is what is generally considered retro.

I depends who you speak to though. 7th generation games/consoles still feel modern enough to not be considered retro 😅

The Winter Olympics is making me want to skiing again! That's off the cards right now though. Maybe next year. In the meantime, I can revisit a wonderful series from my childhood with SSX 3!

Had a great time trying out some games I've never played before last night! One stand out was Pandemonium! on the PS1. What a wonderfully whimsical experience. I will definitely have to go for a full playthrough in the future!

Finished Max Payne tonight. That's Game #2 of 2026! That was a really fun playthrough, despite the borked difficulty. Never managed to finish it as a kid. Looking forward to playing Max Payne 2 for the first time!

I wish I could find my GameCube. It's buried in my parents attic somewhere 😭

I've been watching a play test of Skyblivion this afternoon and I am so impressed with what the team has put together. It looks fantastic.

There's still a few things to iron out which is expected from a mod of this size. But it looks like it is pretty close to being complete!

Can't wait to play!

I will add that it wasn't until a few hours into Day 2 did I find out that Max Payne has adaptive difficulty which is apparently kind of broken on modern PCs. Really cool for a game that is almost 25 years old, and also explains why I started to die so much!

Max Payne kicked my arse a bit this week.

End of Day 1, Part 1 complete: 29 Deaths.

End of Day 2, beginning of Part 3: 90 DEATHS.

This game got difficult quickly 😂. Finishing up the story tomorrow night. I wonder what the final death count will be.

Video games are so special.

They give us the chance to explore different worlds and allow us to disappear from our real life problems for a short time.

Starting a new playthrough in Max Payne tonight. I haven't played this in probably 20 years 👀. Can't wait!

It's a grim cold and wet day here today. I want nothing more than to stay home and cosy up with a good game. Unfortunately that doesn't pay the bills. Time to go outside 😔
