To often in this debate people have assumed that only those of religious conviction or conservative politics oppose assisted dying in principle. So I thought I would explain…

So incredibly proud of my boss @sarahowen.org.uk. She has spent years of her career (long before Parliament) campaigning to have miscarriage recognised as a bereavement in the workplace. This is how you live through pain and use it to bring healing for others. ❤️‍🩹

NEW: Minister Justin Madders confirms the government will add bereavement leave for those who have experienced miscarriage to the Employment Rights Bill in the Lords, after @sarahowen.org.uk's campaign. I can definitely see that. I find it helpful seeing the different political views - but extremists, conspiracy theorists etc are not a necessary evil in public discourse
