Tenstorrent decided to publish the first benchmark data for Ascalon's RVV implementation using the instruction throughput benchmark of my rvv-bench benchmark suite. <3

Overall, the results look really good so far:
Gemini data point is likely affected by the fact that Google includes it “for free”, so companies already using Workspace is likely to enable/allow it.

It’s amazing how quickly you can forget just how painful classic VPNs are once you’ve switched to Tailscale, 5 yers have passed quickly.
There’s no going back.

Problemet med X är ju överlag kvaliteten på inlägg och diskussioner numera. Det är ju mest en massa orelaterade svar och videor och spam.
Själva CN-biten verkar fungera bra när någon far med osanning.
Ah, December, with the joy of adventofcode.com.
Nightly little puzzles to solve, until I fall behind and miss a few and then lose track of them. Still, fun while it's going.

At Tenstorrent we are making progress on upstream support for our #riscv Ascalon core. We've got support in LLVM now and support for qemu is on the way.

It’s all fun and games until Oracle decides to sue anyone shipping <netinet/ip6.h>.
The year after that they introduce per-process IPv6 licensing for enterprise.
“So, there’s IPv6, which is deprecated. And there’s IPv7, which is not ready yet.”
Yep, sounds on brand even without pulling the KBG aspect.

Seems like CLEAR is the new TSA Pre. :(
It also seems that they just don’t have enough lines open, usually only one of the pre check scanners are manned.
Sounds to me like you don’t quite know what you’d like though!
