In 1465, Jewish conversos from Toledo, re-settled in Egypt, had to chose between Rabbanism and Qaraism.
When eventually Qaraism pervailed, with permission from the Muslim authorities, Qaraites mocked Rabbanites claiming they distort God's words, and permit anal sex.

And there was much rejoycing.

Dedication on a 15th c. manuscript, mentions "Shelomo ha-Kohen who was martyred... in Cairo" on the 10th of Sivan 1753 Sel., which corresponds to 20.5.1442 (Julian calendar) and 10th of Muḥarram 846.
An execution of Two Jewish leaders in Cairo during Muḥarram 846 is recorded in Muslim Chronicles.

Deed of transfer of land - the Jewish rabbanite community of Cairo sells to a Jewish physician some land it owns in the Ḥārat Zuwayla neighborhood, Qaḍīb street. With the proceeds they buy a ruined house "near the synagogue".

In Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic. And a translation to Arabic.
1409 CE.

A court deed from Cairo, probably 1209 AD.
Nūr al-dīn ʿAlī b. Ibrāhīm b. Ṣadaqa buys from the Coptic patriarch a ruined property in maṣūṣa in Fustat.

He then sells it to Ibrāhīm b. Sayyār, the Karaite Jew (al-yahūdī al-qarā).
