Same with the other cloned girl who turned into the stalker enemy. Everything with Grace is just a red herring as far as I can tell lol Requiem's writing is a mess but its an entertaining mess.

It is pretty confusing to be fair! Emily is a clone but it cant be of Grace unless Grace is nearing 40 which I highly doubt lol. I believe Umbrella was experimenting on children from the Orphanage, started cloning them to have more test subjects which we see the results of with Emily transforming.

She is a clone but she was genetically altered since only Spencer and Alyssa knew Grace was normal and everyone else assumed she was special and connected to Elpis. No idea how they got the idea that Elpis was a mind control virus though lol.

Yeah like I get it was a bew venture witg a new engine but also they definitely could've done much better for Chris lol

I also like RE2 Chris' look, I like that he has auburn hair like Claire. I do still like his RE6 appearance, he's still big but doesn't look as roided out.

I love that Leon looking good in RE9 is a direct consequence of us all complaining about how terrible Chris looked in RE7.

Yeah I really want a game set around Jill recovering after RE5, I had my own ideas for it that I posted about years ago on twitter. All the ladies have so much room for character development and new stories but Capcom keeps sidelining them, its so sad.

One of my biggest issues with RE6 is how they just ignore that the president was the one who "recruited" Leon and was clearly a morally corrupt guy and instead are like actually Simmons is the only evil one. Leon and Sherry like being held hostage by the government actually :)

Arguably since RE3 since that's where we get Leon's epilogue where the US government "recruit" him.

I consider it the worst videogame adaptation because unlike other shitty films like House of the Dead or Doom, Return is actually offensive in its terribleness. The Abstract Daddy scene genuinely made me angry, it's incredibly distasteful.

I swear to God someone played Signalis and liked how it used classical music so decided to implement that in this movie instead of the soundtrack everyone already loves!

That shit fucking killed me! They also have Waiting for you from SH4 playing when James is getting drunk and they play SH4's final boss music instead of Betrayal!!! And SH4's boss music was already in the first SH movie! Also letter from the lost days, fuck off that song has nothing to do with SH2.

They didn't even play The Promise at the end... Why was the music choices for this film either non existent or out of place???

It's definitely massive step up from Village and 2R thats for sure. Turns out having a legacy character in a main role where they help the new protagonist without question is a good idea.

There's so much free real estate in the timeline pre RE9 that you could slip in a bunch of Revelations games!

With Requiem's success I really hope we see more new mainline games or hell being back the Revelations games for more original content instead of a focus on more remakes.

Do I think Requiem was well written? Not particularly. Was it entertaining? Absolutely! It's certainly got a lot of material to talk about and it's nice to see RE not afraid to get silly again.

No spoilers for Requiem but I did laugh a lot. There was a portion where I said to myself "Welcome back RE6".

They were also both in Persona 4 and Soul Eater long before TLOU and Catherine lol

Maybe but our villains having a different interpretation of intent doesn't quite hold the same weight of one of our heroes stating the positive intentions and the choice of password is pretty deliberate.
