That is, they do not live solely by the seven naohide laws, their practice is much richer.

From what i understand, many of these communities engage in Jewish rituals, often guided by rabbis they connect with online. There are some (i think mostly orthodox and haredi) rabbis who see providing support to these communities' journey as part of spreading righteousness to the gentiles.

Good article on recent attacks on this small new religion Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (not the same as Pakistani Ahmadiyya, latter is of Sunni origin while former is Shi'i). For scholars "Cult" usually just means a religion the speaker doesn't like.
