I really hope they do too. I just finished the two other novellas and they are very much like this first season but with different small scale adventures.

Exactly. They work as sci-fi, but as Star Trek, the Bluegills and Disco’s Season 1 Klingons feel like experiments that strayed too far from the franchise’s core. I’ve been giving Star Trek Academy a try but it strays from the franchise in a different way IMOP.
