β¨ The 2nd III/LIS Comparative Economic Inequality Conference β Thatβs a Wrap! β¨
On February 27-28, 2025, we gathered in Luxembourg for a thought-provoking exchange on comparative economic inequality, featuring cutting-edge research and discussions.
Great opportunity for joining and leading a group of scholars, with the aim of driving the studies on social inequalities towards the (possibly complicated) future.

We invite to have a look at the paper, and be in touch in case you are interested in sharing ideas/comments on the results or the micro-simulation model itself, we are open to possible collaborations and replications to other countries.
Thank you!
An example is provided below.
What would be the wealth inequality without the current Italian inheritance tax? And what if we introduce the French tax? π
The focus of the paper is on the role of intergenerational transfers in shaping wealth inequality and its interaction with demographic trends.
We are able to build counterfactual exercises to compare various scenarios.
