I hate using stop orders as entry or as exits in my systematic strategies. They will harm your strategy. I have one short term strategy using a target which is mediocre. I sometimes use a stop loss twice as a desaster stop, but more from a psychological point of view.

I have more a shotgun approach: trading a portfolio of well tested strategies in crpyto, stocks, ETFs and vola.
