Just found out about this game and I'm having a blast with it. Echoes of the End looks gorgeous. I was not expecting to enjoy it this much! It's got all I love! Beautiful graphics, nice combat, platforming, exploration and puzzles. Definitely recommend! 👍 #EchoesoftheEnd

Played ROUTINE.
Now I'm TRAUMATIZED.
Anyway, overall I had fun with the first half of the game because I thought it was better balanced between fights, bosses & exploration. I actually really liked the Resident Evil aspect of it at the start. But by the end of it it, it becomes way too unforgiving to my taste.

I thought the game had some of the best bosses in the franchise, & learning their patterns made them really easy to beat if you took your time, but some of the last ones are the worst. Too unforgiving. Here's probably my most hated boss. Oh yeah the camera sucks in this game too.

I stopped enjoying the game's bosses after that though. I thought they were too aggressive and unfair. It seemed like nothing worked on them. Taking my distance/staying close... We were pretty much both stuck in a loop of dodging and parrying each other and it wasn't fun.

I had to switch to Hero mode for some of the last bosses though because I had no HP left and the checkpoint was terribly placed (parkour+unskipable cutscenes to get to the boss), meaning the Die and Retry wasn't fun anymore, but the boss itself was fine. Just really hard.

Finally finished Ninja Gaiden 1! I both LOVED it and HATED it. This game could've been perfect if it wasn't so unbalanced. I played the game on normal for most of the game and loved most bosses and enemies, except for the darn ninjas that kept using their explosive shurikens.
