Margaret sure did that. At least for me. I came to my flat 19 years ago. Each day I strive to do one thing that would make her proud. Be it vacuuming or doing the dishes or just plain having dinner (I have zero appetite today). It helps me maintain order amongst my mental chaos.

Grama passed away in 2004. If there was one person who did a little bit of everything in moderation it was her. Except love. Which she did unconditionally. All my fond memories of my childhood are tied up with her.
Found out in 2008 it takes β¬500 to legally change your name. Now it is β¬1000. Fahk!

Dutch father, Canadian mother. When I relived my father raping me as a 5th bday "present" in 2008 which landed me in nut hatch for 6 weeks I wanted no more of of heritage of sexual preditor with pedophilic tendancies nor of violent alcoholic "mother" who beat me alsmost daily for 7 years as a child

A stack of historic leather bound books with marbled edges.
Worcestershire Archives Marbled Ledgers.
Cool fact alert!
Marbled end papers on ledgers weren't only beautiful--they also prevented fraud.
Nefarious bookkeepers couldn't remove pages without messing up the pattern, alerting employers to their misdeed.

RIP The amazing Terry Watkinson from my all time favourite Canadian band Max Webster. Though Kim Mitchell wrote & sang the bulk of Max Webster's tunes Terry always had a few gems on each album. He had the most angelic voice and incredible keyboard parts. Sheer genius. Huge Loss RS

Thank you. With my Olanzapine -my crazy candy as I call my anti-psychotic drug - I find it difficult to feel, uhhh, extremes? of emotion. But your #TheStrawberryThief made me cry. So much wasted time. Quite literally. Being wasted. But in feeling Grama's loss I feel her joy.

Early morning light just creeping over the horizon in a light red glow with yellow above before the dawn blue. There are several wispy dark gray clouds in the sky. The farm is dark with the silhouette of trees is on the horizon. There is a telephone pole in the middle of the picture
There are fleeting moments
when the longing has the pull
loam does over the roots
of an heirloom Brandywine
ripening in the full California sun.
Meyer lemons squeezed
at the peak of sweetness
& tossed into an etched
crystal punch bowl with sharp
edges & a ladle made of wings.

Sikelgaita (1040 β 1090) was a Lombard princess, and the wife of Duke Robert Guiscard of Apulia. Her heritage made her a vital asset to Robert's governance in Southern Italy. She frequently accompanied him on campaigns and is noted for leading troops in battle. #CelebratingWomen

Ron Jeremy. Oh man, I think this one should have some fun comments! Did you know alt text helps people who are blind, have low vision, or struggle to interpret images access essential meaning when visuals arenβt usable? Also, itβs great for jokes! I know full well who the person is in the photo, and that I've added the bio of a different person entirely. It's a gag about people having a vaguely similar name, which I can mix up in a comedic way. Some people hate these, but youβre reading this so I hope youβre a lil entertained?
Celebrating a birthday today; Ron Howard, born March 1, 1954, the former child actor who became one of Hollywoodβs most respected filmmakers. From The Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days to directing the Oscarβwinning A Beautiful Mind, his sixβdecade career continues to shape modern storytelling

"Let it Snow" wrapping paper folded to show "TitS"
Maybe using gift wrapping paper that says "Let it Snow" wasn't such a good idea after all.

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 119:
Villains can be fun to write. But historically, portrayals of villainy have also been filled with stereotypes. Your villain isn't a villain because they're ugly, or from a different race, or disabled, or mentally ill. They're a villain because of their choices.

One day you just wake up, it seems, and your beard is grey and you make noise tying your shoelaces. I dunno how this happened. I know I don't act my age at all. Last year, Mees, my physio, said to me "Happy 38th bday, man". I had turned 51.... πππ He's not even 30 yet so big compliment, eh?
