Tonight was UConn’s first single digit win over a non conference opponent in over 3 years, the last was November 30, 2021.

Since then, UConn has gone 42-6 against non conference opponents, including tonight’s game and the last single digit win.

Take away the sloppy play tonight and UConn wins by 50 and East Texas doesn’t score 40.

But: We did play sloppy tonight. And that’s where I have faith in our coaching staff to fix that. We have good offense and defense, sloppy play is easy to fix!
