People believe the news that they can access.

They're saying that we just need to eat beans & tofu & our money worries will dissolve.

I don't think it's helping.

It is a common way to practice fraud.

But the point is that these aren't the patient's fault.

They are things healthcare workers do.

If you receive government benefits, they typically pay very close attention to your finances. It's not the recipients.

We need to realize that if fraud does happen, with, say, Medicaid or Medicare - it isn't the patients committing fraud.

It is hospitals billing incorrectly.

It is set-ups where a doctor submits a bill for a service a patient never receives - this is why the system is so strict about DME.

2 was the best phone. I had a version of it up until about 2015 when some of my family lost their phone access for a period of time, and people kept sending me picture texts which would render it unusable and I was like, better get a phone that's more reliable.

But there would need to be some major public education about what 0.05 means. There'd have to be a well advertised DOH website about how you get to 0.05 and how it clears cause some of the websites out there are very sus. Maybe a way to self-test a breathalyzer before you leave.
