Yes!! I loved him in Whitney my love but he was incredibly horrible in his book. I loved the amnesia and the heroine and the book aside from him so it really hurt to hate that man intensely 😭😭 she also ruined Nicki’s character in his novella

I surprised myself with how much I actually didn’t hate it (until the last 50 pages) but I absolutely despised book 2’s hero when I thought I’d love him 😭 kingdom of dreams was immaculate tho

I’ve seen some conversations about TikTok and what’ll happen in publishing if the ban actually happens. I’m just some lady, but I think booktok peaked months ago. Publishing is 12-36 months behind your FYP. And while there was a boom it created a specific quality problem.

AND ONE MORE THING! TikTok has made the front list market push worse. Content creators are so focused on new releases there’s no space for backlists which also equal sales for everyone. You can make content about older books, but almost no one does. It’s Arcs and newest releases only.
