I like sharing the work in slate that I make. It’s made or commissioned so that it’s seen. In my ‘day job’ I have over 38 years made pieces of work that will sit in public view (memorial or restoration/construction work ) that will be there for possibly 100 years plus open to the eyes of many. Mad.

I have just popped a 90% cacao square of chocolate into the chilli I am making.
It’s like a culinary analogy of life in the very late 80’s, early 90’s.

One of the 18 Unknown Pleasures commissions I have made. The Burnell & Hewish discovery, pulsar CP1919 hand drawn into Italian Slate with a 5mm tip chisel. Each one is approx A4 in size.
