Honestly, my bad for spending a single second on one of Meta’s platforms. We need a proper, people’s app that is free from the censorship imposed by our corporate overlords.

Went back to Threads bc I had no engagement on BS (except for bots).

Meta locked my account bc of the post below & are threatening to terminate it for violating standards.

Why are we letting billionaires decide what we can and can’t talk about? It’s the antithesis of the internet we were promised.

It’s a terrible bill. It will literally kill people. The most vulnerable among us will suffer as the wealthiest benefit. It’s perverse. I wish there were something I could do. But alas, I am only a U.S. Senator from Alaska whose “no” vote would kill the bill. So I voted yes. You get it.

What are the chances she’s been made AG entirely because she’s corrupt and Trump thinks she’s hot?

Liar is not strong enough a word. Trump is a destroyer of truth. That’s his aim, and it’s why he’ll lie about a lie he made. It’s a war on truth.

When you believe your own lies and forget the man you’re “negotiating” with started the war and could end it at any time.

Elon backtracked on DOGE savings goals from $1 trillion to $150 billion.

But watchdogs report only $12.6 billion in verifiable savings.

That represents just 0.173% of the U.S. federal budget for 2025.

We're losing vital government services for basically nothing in return.

FFS, Blue Sky. I’m not Australian and I don’t follow any of these people and I’ve clicked “show less posts like this” at least 100 times —what do I have to do to convince you I live in the United States and don’t have time for other country’s politics?

What a colossal a**hole.

Still wrapping my head around a President with 34 felony convictions snatching people off the street if they have a speeding ticket on their record.

Logo for Western truck exchange in Los Angeles, California with blue outline drawings of three men named Mark Dan and Wayne with a cargo truck in the background. Simple retro style art.

Spotted this on a road trip and I’m pretty sure it’s the best logo I’ve ever seen. Mark, Dan and Wayne are absolute legends.

My first apartment in 1994 was $350/month. Adjusting for inflation, that apartment should now rent for $744/month.

It actually rents for $1500. Greed and inflation are hurting the kids, not their Starbucks lattes.

The modern US Republican Party may be the most openly, brazenly, and shamelessly hypocritical group of people to have ever existed in human history.

That Walz protest was pure astroturf, paid for by President Bone-Spurs.

A disgusting, post-election, swift-boating stunt meant to demoralize his opposition.

The kind of move only our vindictive draft-dodger-in-chief could dream up.

There is no bottom to his shamelessness.

43% of El Salvador’s coffee production is bought by the U.S.

Companies like Starbucks are key players.

It’s time to put pressure on these companies and consumers to boycott Salvadoran coffee until Bukele releases Garcia and any others wrongfully detained.

The moment anyone can be taken off the street by anyone claiming to be police, America’s rule of law is already broken.

What stops the next one from being a kidnapper with a fake badge?

This is how freedom dies, not with a bang, but with a minivan door slammed shut on your rights.

15 years ago the Supreme Court decided corporations are people under the First Amendment.

Today, billionaire political spending is up 160-fold since that ruling.

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.

I’ve been getting them for years, but lately, getting emails that say stuff like “TELL DEMS IN CONGRESS TO…” is particularly disheartening, because if those people need me to tell them what to do, it’s already too late.

The top five egg producers own roughly half of all U.S. laying hens.

The biggest of those corporations is Cal-Maine, which just announced quarterly profits of $509 million — more than 3x what it made a year ago.

Corporate concentration + bird flu = a price-hiking free for all.

All we wanted was Medicare for All, and the best Dems could offer was Mediocre for All — so the GOP stepped in and is delivering… tax breaks for billionaires.

“The media”

She lost me long before that, but c’mon—isn’t that phrase just silly at this point?

You mean the big, bad, billionaire-owned, ad-fed media machine?

Soo “radical, socialist, leftist, communist, terrorist” they can barely rake in billions from advertisers?

Please.

I realize Musk suffers from an incurable case of white savior complex, but what gave him the idea that after 250 yrs, what America really needed was a hostile takeover by the richest man on Earth?

It’s a testament to how little he thinks of our country and of democracy in general.
