Exactement. Pourquoi utiliser des circonvolutions pour éviter l'usage d'un terme consacré au sens (plus ou moins) délimité. C'est comme demander à un physicien de parler de mécanique quantique sans utiliser le mot "quantique".

On m'a aussi souvent fait ce genre de reproche, qui semble frapper pas mal de philosophes. Je comprends qu'on peut regretter l'usage de termes jargoneux quand c'est abusif. Mais en quoi les -ismes sont-ils intrinsèquement problématiques ou cryptiques ?

As far as I can tell, this is yet another way of saying that the way in which emergence has been framed since the 1990s is kind of a degenerative research program. It's only thinkering on a wrong basis. link.springer.com/article/10.1...

We (my co-author and I) actually already contacted the editor-in-chief twice, but we've been ghosted. Fortunately I had more chance with members of the editorial board that I know a bit, but they were only able to tell me that they've been sending reminders to the reviewers (months ago)...
