Sudden, cascading scheduling conflicts have moved us to make a goofy, spooky little pivot this weekend that we hope you’ll enjoy!!!

We just recorded something extremely stupid and silly for @boxofficegross.bsky.social that you guys will presumably hear on Monday, completely unannounced, so, get hype for that instead of a real episode lol

We also go deep on the previous year’s THE FORGOTTEN, a film with a nominally similar premise that goes in a much, much different direction.

This might be our punchiest, funniest episode yet, it was an absolute blast and Katie is always a joy to have, CHECK IT OUT!!!

We discuss the film's impossibly nonexistent legacy for being one of the 20 highest grossing movies of its year, thanks to its preposterous, dishonest script that keeps you intrigued until the moment it reveals it has absolutely no proverbial clothes, despite the rarity of a Jodie Foster performance

And #2, if you are interested in being on the show, we are doing an episode on the first NARNIA movie in about a month, and we do not have a specific guest yet. We have standing offers from some of our lovely #BOGBFFs that I will be thrilled to have on, but if you're interested, let me know!!!

Instead, we'll just throw out the specific invites about eight weeks before the planned recording date, just to check in and make sure you're available and still interested in doing it, and then we'll go on normal procedure from there. Just makes sense and allows for more open process.

1. For the 2006 season, we're not going to assign everybody their episodes before the year starts. It just feels silly scheduling people to be on a podcast 12 months early lol.
