Just tested (keep in mind I'm still transferring data over) but I have it mapped through explorer. If I go to check edited photos or videos they load instantly. Probably won't edit from the NAS, but it's great for storage / sharing.

Ended up building out a Synology 1522+ with RAID 5, 4 10TB drives presently with room for one more. This is an absolute game changer for my photo and video work and storage.

Starting to spec out options for a NAS for archival photo and video storage. Anyone have experience / suggestions for this?

Dare I say it was an Omos Pocket 3? (I’ll see myself out for that pun)

Closer to buying a medium format film camera with each passing day.
