How much I love my niece and how certain I am I never, for all the treasures of the world entire or under threat of everlasting torment, ever wanna have kids are about the same intensity. One of those just a tad more.

I'm at that stage with writing that I was with art some 20 years ago where a mediocre page takes me double digit hours.

Part of the process, I understand, humbling, builds character.
I accept that for a while it'll just take way more effort than it will show in the results. I also want my mommy.

One of the branches has just the one.

Anyone can explain how this happens? It's a 9 year old yellow bougainvillea, not grafted, never had pink bracts before. It's by itself in the back, the pink bougainvilleas are on the other side of the house. The pink bracts are on three branches only.
