I collect vinyl. This is one of my favourites by one of my favourites and my favourite birthday buddy. It finally gets a re-release…just waiting on The Royal Scam to get the treatment…

Suddenly Canadian. Obvious why. Living in England it’s a deflection I can make unless I run into a Canadian. But then Canadians will have empathy and let me play along. Helps to avoid targeting and the endless conversations…

Map Nerd. Oh boy, do I love a map. As an analyst I love any chance I can get to the mapping software. Old maps, new maps…Map apps, globes…

Analyst. I’ve made a career of it so far.

Creative. I’m this more than expected. I seem to approach it from a science/math perspective. But I write songs. The music comes in minutes and I fret over words. Painting, writing, etc

Psychedelic. Music and clothing really. And art. Not into the drugs at all. But I really love the music.

Love and Rockets: Gothic Psychedelia, for example…

Gothic. Music, dress, architecture, art.

I went through the phase in 80’s -90’s when everyone did. Then went elsewhere. But now I’ve discovered new bands, I’m just right back there.

Subversive. Oh I am that. Especially when it’s called for.

Human. Of flesh and blood I’m made…
As much as I’d like to be above it all, it’s a condition that remains and that I’m coming to terms with to allow myself to be.

Historian. My favourite thing about history is how the stories we learned while young unravel with science and archaeology. Winners might tell the stories but eventually it comes down.

Gobeckli Tepe. Things like that.

Wiccan. I’ve been a great studier of religions and texts and history and archaeology around belief systems. Still am.
But this is different. I’ve studied off and on for years yet am at the start. The difference: I can hear, and feel, her call…more later

Buddhist. Kind of. I’ve been studying it for many decades and have a practice but it is just that. It’s an action and method of being. A life Philosophy really. The myth parts I don’t feel at all. But it’s practical.

Survivor. This is less nice. It’s not cancer. It’s not the band. Abuse at the hand of a belief system. I’m ok now, but it took a while.

I’m old enough you can know now, I guess.

Husband. Yeah, I’m that. And thankful almost 20 years I still am. For this I’m very fortunate. I can be hard to put up with, mind you.

Dad. Self explanatory. Hopefully a good one. Probably an ok one. Not a bad one. At least not most of the time…

Neurodiverse: tbd. This is one of the things I’m dealing with now but I’m thinking I’ve got the full set. It’s really come to light with kids, with me thinking something is normal and it’s apparently not. More in future.

Collector: vinyl, shoes, sunglasses, weight (lol)…it’s feast or famine…I either have no records by an artist or all of them.

Mathlete. lol. One of those annoying people that could just do it. I could have been pretty good at it if I had put any effort into it, but rarely did. I use it all the time now and it’s fine but if I liked it more I probably would have been great.
