He might just make it! The fever went away this morning and has not come back. No meds, as required for school. He's zoned out on the couch, but that's expected after sleeping poorly. Maybe he is still young enough to bounce back quickly! I just need to get food down him....

Everyone but me is sick. The kid has 1 hour to get his fever down if he wants to go to school tomorrow in time to play. He has 3 hours for it to break if he wants to go halfway through and then at least go to the game. Yay it isn't recognition night. Boo it's the last home game.

I took the kid sledding yesterday. Because a snow day from school is better than the day before when parents weren't at work. :P Took hand warmers and had a good time. I miss my uncle, but I enjoy having his snow suit that's big enough for me so I can bend and drive to sledding!

Behold the bowl! A beanbag had ended up on the box on the couch. I had to call in help to walk through the room to check my work and they spotted it peeking out. Thanksgiving is saved! (The bowl was made in Germany. I probably knew this before, forgot it, but so says the bottom).

I am out of boxes. I HAVE NO POTATO BOWL. (and some china; fine, whatever).

Thanksgiving is in less than a week.

THIS IS A CRISIS. Also confusing as all get out. Other areas we emptied and scattered around and I could understand. But this one was ALL RIGHT THERE!

We finally put all the furniture back (and the ceiling stopped stinking), so today was Put Stuff Back Day. Great! Have steadily worked my way through boxes (cursing that the easy boxes were packed first and thus in the back, and cannot be unpacked first for momentum and space).

The porch was emptied to allow for insulation install. It was all put into the room just inside, expect for some furniture that went in the hallway, also right there. One massive imposing pile.

I have an orange bowl in which goes (most of) 10lbs of mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving. I could use it for other things, I basically don't.

My grandmother's (now mine) good china is in a cabinet on the porch, along with the Orange Bowl of Potatoes.

A crisis has arisen.
