It's reported that Trump took at least 6 flights on Epstein's private jet. His office confirmed he flew on the jet to Epstein’s private island in the late '90s/early 2000s. He pretends no involvement with Epstein’s illicit activities.

We suck

Empires decline all the time, for all kinds of reasons, but our present moment will be remembered in history books for the sheer volume of *voluntary & pointless self-imposed damage*. We're systematically dismantling what made us great, for no reason! Genuinely, with no rationale! It's wild.

The free speech activist who built a list of professors he worked to get fired for their speech must be celebrated for his support of free speech, and anyone who quotes his speech accurately in context will be fired and/or face state punishment by the champions of free speech, do I have that right?

Something people aren't talking about enough is how often Charlie Kirk invoked the Fifth Amendment when testifying before Congress about the domestic terrorists he provided buses to get to Washington on January 6, 2021.

Charlie Kirk was a champion of free speech except for when he pled the 5th almost 70 times during his testimony to the Jan 6 Committee.

It shows how far into authoritarianism we’ve descended that journalists can be fired for simply acknowledging what a right-wing activist said and not participating in collective hagiography.

The conning of America. Simple, malleable, angry folk believe this idiot.

Kirk was fearless. He went straight into the battle time and again. His followers came under fire, & he bravely stood by their side. Undaunted leadership.

He took risks. Scottie might run low on dilithium crystals. Spock might detect an unsettling environment. Undeterred, Cpt. Kirk charged on.

Worst attack on our Capitol since 1812. Trump told these people that he "loved" them.

Then he pardoned them.

I have students in class for three hours a week, a total of 45 hours a semester (assuming they show up), then in most cases never see them again. Their parents live with them for 18 years.

There is simply no possible way I could have more influence on their views than their parents.
