and although i am now seven years removed from that period of time, seeing Oliver come back and reading his succinct yet emotive and engaging musical commentary again is nothing short of enthralling.

i discovered Oliver’s videos during my freshman year of college, and to say that they encouraged the ravenous passion for music i developed then would be an understatement. after joining and finding community in the DCD, that exploration continued forward in ways that indubitably changed my life,

Komander’s a great TV wrestler, but i really hope they utilize this tournament as a showcase for him that will lead to more solid booking. i’ve grown tired of knowing the inevitable result of every match he enters while his adaptability becomes undermined by stagnating loss after stagnating loss.

this being further compounded by a lack of engagement and solid booking for their luchadors/CMLL partnership and the irony poisoning that has diluted the EVP angle/every awful Jericho segment has left the weekly show feeling unstable and strange.

a detrimental extent. while there have been efforts to focus on myriad storylines within the division, the lack of in-ring work within a show predominantly focused on in-ring work greatly undercuts the division.
