the "esc" key on a keyboard is a holdover from early-'90s personal computers. on some models it would dispense a can of escargot out of one of the unused drive bays. they put it in the corner so you wouldn't press it by accident because you only got three of them. i pushed it once and got grounded

Is it just me, or does it get harder and harder to spell as you get older? Also used to be if I couldn’t spell something I could generally suss it out. Not anymore.

I take issue with folks that are suggesting a self hosted option. The probability that your NAS or your USB device will fail and lose your data is a lot higher than the same thing happening with a cloud provider. You have to maintain self hosted and I guarantee you won’t do as well as say Amazon
