Ik sta in deze waanzinnige editie van De Gids, met een essay over waanzin in de wetenschap.

Ik vond het geen makkelijk stuk om te schrijven, en heb er nog steeds ingewikkelde gevoelens over, maar het moest er toch komen.

Who knows what in mental health? The conference (part one) Radboud University hosted a conference on 11th and 12th June 2025 examining the interplay between the study of epistemic injustice and the debates on expertise by experience in mental healthcare. New post today on the #projectEPIC on the first day of the conference of expertise in mental health hosted by Radboud University: epistemicinjusticeinhealthcareproject.blogspot.com/2025/09/who-... #philsky #epistemicinjustice @who-knows-what.bsky.social

Frontiers | Being in a position to know: attuned responsiveness as the hallmark of experiential knowledge and expertise in mental healthcare

New publication!

Roy Dings and Derek Strijbos propose a conceptual framework to address questions about the epistemic contribution of people with lived experience in (mental) healthcare.

Expertise-by-experience, they argue, is about attuned responsiveness.
