Some 2SLGBTQ+ people in N.S. on edge as hateful rhetoric rises at home and abroad | CBC News The province has been hit with a recent spate of vandalism targeting 2SLGBTQ+ businesses and people, with one advocate saying these types of actions are being influenced by the U.S. president.

New German, Swiss, And Austrian Guidelines Recommend Trans Youth Care, Slam Cass Review The recommendations, released by the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany, come at a time when US politicians erroneously claim that Europe is "pulling back" on transgender care.

They strongly recommend trans youth care and slam the
Cass Review in England.

First N.S. gender-affirming top surgery program now in place with 2 dedicated surgeons | CBC News For the first time, Nova Scotia Health has a dedicated gender-affirming top surgery program with specifically trained surgeons who have a mandate to provide the care. Two surgeons have been recruited for the program in the last two years.

Odessa, Texas has voted to pass a transgender bathroom bounty law that applies to PRIVATE bathrooms.

This means even in queer spaces.

If a cisgender person encounters a transgender person, they can sue them for $10,000 or more.

This is the first law of its kind in the nation.
