i design the robos, alt modes and pilot crew all on the same page to try and keep them as consistent as possible. here i've decided that this AU's equivalent of warpath would have that scopedog kneeling thing going on and also have a crew of 2-3 in there. guntank sorta deal

i wanna get in some extra critters in there before i really feel satisfied with what's going on here. i feel like some extra ground and air vehicles, some more lil troops on foot and a big robo in the background with some atmospheric fog would really tie it up together.

there are some diaclone frames that do not transform, mostly some training units for beginners or backups for spare parts. Diaclones that do not need to be particularly swift (such as cargo or construction units) sometimes have simple frames that might be only slightly reinforced

stuff like shoulder canons and armor plates can just be attached on using a series of hard points, some complex transforming sections (like her lower legs here) though require specialty inner frames that are modified to accommodate transformation mechanisms

diaclones work mostly by applying a soft but reinforced skin layer on top of a bio-mecha inner frame which allows for an easy translation of the pilots nerve endings to their mecha's. Extra armor, guns and vehicle mode parts are more like accessories that can be switched out
