I love porcelain. Its fine components offer a buttery + smooth clay body to handle. What I also love is staining it, giving its white clay canvas dark earthy depth. Here is a montage of that process on this raised + "scored" sourdough 🍞

Using ol' trusty red iron oxide to give that porcelain hand-carved illustration some umph, visual elevation, pizazz. A work-in-progress custom; an ode to passion, play and peace.

A trio of three, handmade circular porcelain ashtrays with walls 3” high and a diameter of 3”. They mimic the look and shape of a finnish hot tub. They have wood grain texture pressed into surfaces, a small round resting space for incense or joint, and a cute porcelain seat with wooden texture nestled inside. The round ashtrays are finished in a mahogany brown with a charcoal raised band around each, resembling the metal band around a barrel. The three of these are nestled together on top of the deck of an actual wooden hot tub, with a rose quartz tea candle holder with lot candle to the left. Beautiful vibrant and dried flowers of magenta and yellow are strewn around ashtrays and candle holder.

Hand-built finnish hot tub inspired porcelain ritual (ash)trays, with elevated resting space for medicine stick + small seat nestled inside 😜
