#TACO #trades So, I did OK this week. Bought and sold $SPY call and put options. Some trades, I did not make as much as I would’ve liked but I did not lose any money in trades this week. Profit is profit.

#TACO It’s not the market volatility that I hate. It’s the uncertainty of what’s going to happen in Washington that will affect the market. It’s hard for me to short term trade when the rug may get pulled out of the market at any moment.

The way I trade, I got screwed on my first #TACO trade a while back. You know the time when he got on Truth and said something like “buy low sell high” hours before his first pause on tariffs? I’m sure they were $SPY puts. I have since recognized the pattern and have been doing OK in this market.

Meanwhile, tariffs on China goods now go UP to 125%? Doesn’t Mr. Market realize that the US gets most of its stuff from China? Obviously, the market does not shop at Walmart.

The market is jubilant over a pause, where really only the surreal retaliatory tariffs have been paused. The 10% base tariff is still in effect. 1/2

I knew he’d back down from the tariffs. Again. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get out of my S&P puts without a lot of damage first.
