‘No Accountability’: Vouchers Wreak Havoc on States | NEA School vouchers are being used mainly by families whose children are already in private school—and state budgets are being drained as a result.

States that have implemented voucher programs have unsurprisingly not been seeing great results.

Here in Virginia there is a voucher program included in the governor's proposed budget that must not make it into the final budget.
