The cliffs are made of steeply dipping sandstone and siltstone beds of the Eask Sandstone Formation.

When for brunch at The Carridge House at #AdareManor on Sunday. It's was glorious weather, so we went for a walk around the grounds. Of course, I had to have a look at the local Limerick black and red "marble" building stone that was quarried just north of Adare. 😍
