Marxism isn't about identity politics.
Liberation isn't about feelings or representation. It's about power redistribution.

You can wear whatever flag you want, but if you're not building power with & for the working class, you're just branding.

& that is not liberation, that is marketing.

The US working class would have to revolt. The US military machine would have to be dismantled from the inside. Same with every other place being crushed by empire. solidarity isn't just "slogans", it’s action & that requires work & analysis beyond whatever is happening right now.

Same with putting a Watermelon in your Bio & chanting "Free Palestine" - Ok who do you think is supposed to do the "freeing"? Chanting it without understanding the machinery of empire behind it makes it empty. Palestinians can't free themselves alone, what other country can stand up & fight the US?

Capital doesn't care if you're gay, trans, bi, whatever, if you’re not challenging capital itself, you’re not a threat.

Identity without class politics is decoration. Nothing more.

They were & are building power, feeding people, defending their communities, studying theory, making international links. They weren’t waving rainbow flags and posting bios. They were/are preparing for a revolution. Materially.

Not like none of it matters. It's more like they are treated with a focus & path to liberation, but they are not.

Leftist movements like the Black Panthers, Zapatistas, or other anti-colonial struggles in the global majority weren’t (&are not) centered around individual identity for a reason!

The western left has been so heavily co-opted by neoliberal logic that most of what passes as "activism" now is just aesthetic individualism. You can see it everywhere - endless focus on identity, who has what sexual orientation, gender, visibility, representation, "vibes".

It's the quiet horror behind your burnout, your depression, your sense that life is pointless, that you're wasting time, that the world is happening to you instead of being built by you. Marx didn't just write about class struggle and profit. He saw something deeper and more devastating the way capitalism severs human beings from the very things that make them human. It doesn't just steal your labor. It steals your connection to that labor. It alienates you from your own life. Start with alienation from the product of your labor. Under capitalism, you don't make things you own. You make things for someone else. Your labor creates value, but that value doesn't belong to you. The coffee you make, the code you write, the house you build, you don't get to keep them. You barely get enough money to survive, and the product disappears into someone else's hands. You make the world, but it's never your world. Everything you do at work becomes something external to you. You punch in, you do your time, you go home exhausted. You feel empty. That's not an accident. That's alienation. You're a stranger to your own creation.

Then there's alienation from the process of labor. You don't work for joy. You work because you'll starve if you don't. You don't control how you work, what you make, or what the goal is. Someone else, a manager, a company, a shareholder, tells you when to start, when to stop, how fast to go, and what happens if you fail. You are reduced to a machine. Your labor isn't an expression of self. It's forced labor in a system where choice is an illusion. Even in so-called "'creative" jobs, you're chasing metrics, clicks, quotas. You're not making something meaningful. Youre surviving inside a prison disguised as a career. Next is alienation from your own species being. This sounds abstract, but it hits hard. Human beings are supposed to be creative, social, self actualizing. We're supposed to shape the world with our hands and minds, not just survive in it. Marx believed that what separates us from animals is our ability to consciously, freely create. But under capitalism, that gets crushed. We aren't creating to live, we're living to create profit. We become tools. Our creativity, our time, our spirit gets fed into the machine, and we're left hollow. You ever work all week and realize you didn't do a single thing you wanted to do? That's alienation. Your humanity has been outsourced.

And then comes alienation from other people, Capitalism pits you against your coworkers, your neighbors, even your friends. Everyone's a competitor. Everything is a transaction. You can't trust anyone, because you're all fighting over the same scraps. Wages are low, rents are high, healthcare is privatized, schools are falling apart. And instead of blaming the system, we blame each other. That's how alienation protects itself. It isolates us, divides us, teaches us to see other people as threats instead of comrades. The rich don't need to fire bullets when alienation does the job for them. Alienation shows up in every corner of modern life. You feel it when your job drains you but doesn't nourish you. You feel it when you buy junk to feel better, then hate yourself for it. You feel it when you realize you don't own your time, that your hours belong to someone else. You feel it in meetings, in customer service voices, in "grindset" culture, in the anxiety that haunts you even when everything is "fine." You are not broken. Capitalism is. Think about this: people are lonelier now than ever. Suicide rates are up. Anxiety and depression are epidemics. Everyone's working longer hours, but nobody can afford a home. We have tech that can connect anyone, anywhere, and people feel more disconnected than ever. That's not just bad luck. That's alienation. The system alienates you from your labor, from the world, from each other, and from yourself.

And no amount of therapy, yoga, mindfulness, or productivity hacks can fix that. Because alienation isn't a personal failing. It's a social condition created by a specific economic system. You can't self care your way out of a structure designed to exploit and isolate you. You need revolution. Alienation is the emotional and spiritual damage caused by capitalism's material violence. It's the invisible trauma of being turned into a cog. And Marx didn't just diagnose it, he gave us a way out. The answer is not to find a better boss. It's to abolish the boss. To reclaim the means of production. To build a society where people control their labor, own their work, create together, and live as full human beings. That's not utopian. That's the bare minimum of what a sane world should look like.

What a dream. Last time I saw any doctor properly mask on their own - is when it was still mandated to use them and even then, they were only using medical masks half worn on their face... and I have been to a shit ton of doctors. Not going is also not an option cause then I can't go to any doctor.

It is simply exhausting seeing Western crocodile tears, as if massive deaths by the US empire or Western imperial interests is a first, until the next topic is being circulated. It is not. And it is happening around the world, not just to one people.

The famine in Sudan isn't a natural emergency. It's imperialist class violence, controlled aid, strategic withholding, elite aligned partners enforcing hunger to preserve capital and geopolitical alignment.

Operation Lifeline Sudan began under US pressure in 1989 to aid both government & rebels. But aid delivery was frequently politicized and later scaled back, creating dependence and leaving rural communities vulnerable.

From the 1980s to 2000s, the US controlled Sudan's food system via reforms tied to IMF/World Bank & security policy, shaping who survived. That colonial industrial agenda made hunger structural and not accidental.
